Evidence of Things - Visual Identity B

Evidence of Things is an interior and architecture studio, though this succint definition hardly captures the full extent of their work. When developing their visual identity, we learned that their process had as much weight as the result. Somewhat like an investigation, bits, pieces and scraps of information are uncovered, adding up to environments with layers of otherwise overlooked findings, that many times branch into projects themselves.

This organic, non-linear, even living approach to ideas reveals patterns and instigates combinations that were never planned, and enriches their projects with a miscellanea of details, traits and stories that could never stay in the background.

This process inspired us to explore an archival aesthetic for their visual identity. Layers, textures, and stationery were used to materialize a curated collection of "things, decisions and whims”, setting them apart with an analog and tactile visual language. The result reflects the strength of their immersive work, and supports the exposure of its full depth as narratives that continue to shape our environments and culture.

Inspired by this project, we will be posting a series of studies that are worth sharing even though they didn't make the final cut.
This is the result of one of the possibilities we explored during the ideation phase.
