Prix - Visual Identity
The idealizers of Prix did not relate to any brand in the manly universe of car wipes in the US. They could also imagine that was a sentiment shared by many more. Non-toxic alternatives with appealing designs had spread to every other cleaning product in the US market, but there was still a gap for car wipes. They envisioned a different approach to the product: a pet and child-friendly non-toxic formula that catered to a larger audience, wrapped up in a design that could show they were miles away from the current options.
When we received this briefing, we had the challenge of making Prix a part of the alternative cleaning niche, but also stand out in the category. We opted for a dynamic design, a feature that was little explored in the segment, inspired by the wiping motion. We paired that with a bolder color blocking, using primary colors in contrast to the natural hues seen in the niche. Following the lead of the name, Prix, we incorporated a vintage touch to the design, influenced by vintage care race graphics, that tied everything together.
The outcome is a dynamic and bold gender-neutral design for people who want no less for their cars than they do for their homes: a trusty and safe cleaning brand that resonates with their values.
